2025 CSA Details

What is a CSA?

With Community Supported Agriculture (CSA), you purchase a farm share before the growing season and receive installments of produce during the growing season. By paying upfront, you assume some of the risk that the farmer takes in ordering seeds and supplies that won’t show a yield until summer. Personally, I also like that we can get the transactional piece out of the way early and focus on enjoying food and community together!

Our CSA runs for 12 weeks, starting in late June or early July depending on the season.
If you miss a week you get one make-up week after the 12 week season ends. If you plan to miss several weeks, you may want to consider the pay-as-you go option. The CSA will take a week break at some point in the summer so our family can go on vacation too!
Our CSA is set up as a farm stand and you get to choose what you want each week from a display of produce. On a chalk board we write out what quantity of each item you can take. Example: 1 bag of salad greens, 3 cucumbers, 1 bunch of carrots, 2 tomatoes, etc. Please bring your own bags.
We offer two different sizes – a full CSA share or a small share. The full share gets you some of everything available each week. With the small share you get to choose 5 of the different vegetables available that week.
In addition to a choice of size, we offer several other ways that you can modify your CSA:
- - Add the Pick-Your-Own option for berries and other fruits as well as produce during the shoulder seasons.
  - Help out on the farm and get a work-share discount.
  - Add local products like Trent’s Bread, eggs, shiitake mushrooms, and honey.
CSA pick ups are on Friday 5-7pm or Saturday 9-11am at Cat’s Meow Farm, 1560 Old Stage Road, Westford, VT.

Our Commitment to you:

We will do our best to provide a full and diverse selection of produce each week. The selection changes through the summer and fall as new crops come into season. Almost everything we grow is our own, but we do buy-in certain crops from local farmer friends on occasion. Potatoes are an example, since we don’t have good soils for them or a tractor to make hilling and harvesting them easier.
We are not certified organic at this time, but we promise to never use pesticides, herbicides, or fertilizers that are not approved for organic use. We do not knowingly plant any genetically modified seeds. Building healthy, living soil is our first priority as a farm and we are happy to discuss our growing practices with you at any time.
